Courtney Hall Passes
Courtney Hall, dam of winners over $3 million, passed on Jan. 29, 2026 after experiencing complications during foaling.
A winner of $118,986, Courtney Hall (pictured above winning at Mohawk) was retired to the broodmare ranks in 2007 by owner Emp Invest Oy of Finland. The full sister to double-millionaire Cameron Hall and Canland Hall — the dam of Cantab Hall — Courtney Hall (Garland Lobell - Canne Angus) produced six $100,000 winners including multiple stakes winners EL Ideal ($830,857), E L Titan ($726,344), Appomattox ($620,723), and EL Rocket ($243,019).
Her 2026 colt by Green Manalishi N is doing well and being raised by a nurse mare at Blue Chip Farms.
"It was Blue Chip’s honour to take care of Courtney Hall and her foals for so many years," said the farm in a statement. "She was an excellent mother. Her legacy will live on through the offspring of her sons, E L Titan and EL Ideal, who stand at stud; and her daughters who are just starting their broodmare careers."
Please join Standardbred Canada in offering condolences to the connections of Courtney Hall.
