Tells On A Roll

Tells On A Roll amplified an already impressive career on Friday evening, Jan. 30 with a win in the featured $40,000 Fillies & Mares Open Pace at Woodbine Mohawk Park, sealing up a training triple for season-leading conditioner Jodie Cullen on the card.

Travis Cullen was back behind the wheel of Tells On A Roll in the featured race of the night, lining up behind post six in the field of seven mares. Without hesitation, Cullen pressed the gas and Tells On A Roll responded with a sweep to the front, opening up by 1-1/2 lengths through the :27.3 quarter and :57.2 half. Continuing forward, Tells On A Roll opened up by two lengths at the three-quarters in 1:25.3. Separating herself from her field of competitors, the mare went on to win by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:54.2.
