The United States Harness Writers Association's annual Dan Patch Awards banquet, presented by Caesars Entertainment, is set for Sunday, Feb. 22 at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida and the deadline to make room reservations is this Friday, Jan. 30.

The Dan Patch Awards banquet annually honours the best and brightest performers, both human and equine, of the previous season. The award winners are selected by the United States Harness Writers Association (USHWA) with all winners already having been announced except for Pacer of the Year, Trotter of the Year and Horse of the Year, which will be revealed the night of the banquet.

There will also be a two-hour Diamond Creek Farm outdoor welcome reception on Saturday, Feb. 21, with the second half featuring country singer Mitch Rossell, presented by Team Beau Jangles. Also, USHWA will hold its annual directors’ meeting on Saturday, Feb. 21 and its general membership meeting the morning of the banquet.

Tickets for the Dan Patch Awards banquet are $230 USD. There is also a reduced-priced menu option for children 12 and under.
