Bob Boni’s Northwood Bloodstock is expanding its service in 2026. 

In addition, after a change of direction in 2025, Boni will no longer be affiliated with Alliance Bloodstock.

"As I have experienced the constant changes in our industry, and particularly in the landscape of public auction, I am looking forward to concentrating my energies on yearling and breeding evaluation and placement and appraisals, private sales and general consulting,” remarked the 2025 U.S. Hall of Fame inductee.

“From my earliest days starting at Pine Hollow Stud, I have particularly enjoyed looking at yearlings, and I will now have more freedom to visit the various farms and venues without any conflicts. Placement and recommendations on specific sales can also be vital.”

As he noted in his Hall of Fame induction speech last summer, the horses are what brought him to harness racing and the people he has met along the way have made the journey so special.

“I have been fortunate to know and have friendships with the very best people our industry has offered and hopefully I will be able to continue to use what I have learned in a variety of ways. Change is constant and I look forward to any challenges and continuing to serve the Standardbred industry.”
