Sorrie, Cullen Wrap Up Flamboro Titles
Driver Austin Sorrie and trainer Jodie Cullen finished the 2025 Flamboro Downs season atop their respective standings as the final card of the year was cancelled on Sunday, Dec. 28.
Sorrie, who leads the nation in wins, topped the Flamboro colony with 141 victories. Buoyed by the meet-leading total at Flamboro, the 26-year-old reinsman has amassed 404 wins overall in 2025, his first 400-win season. He also led all drivers at the track in money, having piled up $921,392. Samuel Fillion was second in wins with 118, and Jason Ryan finished third with 106.
Cullen also led her category in wins and earnings, and like Sorrie, her sizable sum at Flamboro is a large part of her Canada-leading win total. She took her third consecutive Flamboro title with a tally of 80, finishing ahead of Francis Guillemette (66) and Gerard Demers (46), and recorded $487,245 in earnings. Across all tracks, Cullen has won 221 times for her third 200-plus-win campaign in a row, and has passed $3 million in seasonal earnings for the first time.
Racing at Flamboro will resume on New Year's Day at 6:25 p.m.
