Bee Two Bee Back For More At Red Shores

Bee Two Bee

A balanced and competitive afternoon program lines up at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park on Saturday, Dec. 20 with a full card of evenly matched fields and a featured event late on the card.

Post time is 12:30 p.m. (AST) for the 12-dash presentation.

Race 11 is the headline event with a $5,100 Winners Over Pace for horses and geldings, and it shapes up as a wide-open affair. Jk Last Chance gets the inside draw from the rail for trainer-driver Kenny Arsenault and owner Daniel MacIsaac of Charlottetown. The eight-year-old has been racing consistently with three wins in his last four in tough company and draws perfectly to work out a ground-saving trip.

Doc Awesome has been second in his last six outings for trainer Darla MacEachern and gets post two with Corey MacPherson up.

The Phil Sizer trainer Brookdale Johnny (Paul Langille) is the post three entrant while House Edge Hanover (Gilles Barrieau) holds down post four for trainer Ron Matheson.

Merigo Magic has two wins and two seconds from his last four for trainer-driver Adam Merner and gets post five on Saturday.

Bee Two Bee looms large from post six with Jason Hughes driving for trainer Ashley Gamester after winning his last four starts at this level.

The Post Time Picks predicts another victory for Bee Two Bee.

“Bee Two Bee has been a killer bee in his last four starts and has the potential for five straight trips to the winner’s circle. He circled the field from post six two starts back and should get a live second-over tow in the back half again, so I'm betting he keeps his winning streak intact.”

Race 3 is raced in loving memory of Byron and Mary Gamester, with Mr Kelly drawing the rail for trainer-driver Adam Merner and owners Marsha Knox, Cory Livingston, Kevin Teasdale and Dustin Macinnis. Other top entries include Buddysnvirgins (Barrieau) and Handsoffnosein (Jaycob Sweet).

Race 2 is a PEISHOA event and Starship Destiny is the favourite from post four for trainer-driver Kyle Desroche and owners Philip Desroches, Vance Macmillan, Leah Ann Moyer and Ava Lett.
