Beginning Monday, November 3 and continuing throughout the remainder of the year, all first race post times for live racing at Monticello Raceway will be at 12:40 p.m. Also during the month of November, there will be no live racing on Fridays.

Monticello will revert back to its four-day-a-week schedule with racing on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

"Because of the change to Eastern Standard Time, we will begin our racing programs one half-hour earlier," noted track assistant general manager, Shawn Wiles. "We annually set post times back during this time of the year in an effort to get our racing programs completed during the daylight hours."

Simulcast wagering on thoroughbreds - as well as some other harness tracks - is available during the afternoons while the evenings are largely devoted to harness simulcasts.
