Sayinwhatimthinkin (Trevor Smith) pulled off the rail from third, providing cover for the bettors' choice, Easter Jack, at the half-mile station in :57.3, and the outer flow advanced as the field of seven bunched up at the three-quarters in 1:25.1.
Brett Miller sent the eventual winner three-wide around the final turn, and Easter Jack out-sprinted his opponents to score the victory in 1:53.4. Famous Father (Luke Plano) rallied from far back but came up a length short in second. The pocket-sitting Cs Flying Co Pilot (Clint Coy) out-finished Sayinwhatimthinkin for third.
