Ohio Horsemen To Host Charity Night At Dayton
The Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association will host Charity Night on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway.
Ten charities will participate in the event, each paired with a horse during a designated race. The charity paired with the first-place finisher will receive $10,000, USD while second and third place will receive $5,000 USD and $3,000 USD, respectively. All other charities will receive a $2,000 USD donation from the Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association for participating.
The charities will find out which horse they will be cheering for during a live stream on the Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association Facebook page on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 1 p.m.
The participating local charities are 4 Paws for Ability, Dayton Unit NAACP, Fisher/Nightingale Houses Inc., Hannah’s Treasure Chest, Honor Flight Dayton, Miami Valley Meals, Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, Pink Ribbon Good, Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton and Ticket to Dream.
