Grand Circuit stakes winner Always A Miki will stand stud in 2026.
Dupuis Farm announced on Tuesday, Dec. 2 that Always A Miki will be joining its stallion lineup for the 2026 breeding season in Saco, Maine.
The iron tough seven-year-old son of Always B Miki was a standout during his rookie campaign in 2020, winning the Governor’s Cup in 1:50.2 to end his debut season during which he earned well over $300,000 while trained by Nancy Takter. As a sophomore, he continued to compete with the elite of the class, including in eliminations or finals for all three Triple Crown races. He successfully transitioned to Open competition from ages four through seven under the care of trainer Jimmy Nickerson. In total, Always A Miki compiled a record of 29-26-23 from 158 lifetime starts and earned $847,243.
His dam, Beach Gal, is sired by the great Somebeachsomewhere and earned more than half a million during her impressive career. In addition to Always A Miki, she has also produced his full brother, Maximus Miki p,6,1:47.3 ($1,461,000), winner of the FanDuel Championship Open Pace at The Meadowlands on Nov. 15 in 1:47.3 to tie the stakes record. Always A Miki's half-siblings include Breeders Crown champion Ammo p,3,Q1:49.2 ($895,153), stakes winner Sweet Gal p,3,1:49f ($383,406) and Strangeronthebeach p,3,1:52.4s ($31,748). Always A Miki’s 2025 yearling sister by Bulldog Hanover recently sold at the Lexington Selected Sale for $277,778. His dam is a full sister to Nicholas Beach p,6,1:47 ($568,912) and his second dam is a full sister to $1.8 million winner Atochia p,8,1:49f ($1,807,828).
Always A Miki joins Wings Of Royalty, State Treasurer and Dudes The Man in the Dupuis Farm stallion barn. His introductory stud fee has been set at $2,500 USD.
