Rosecroft Issues Health Certificate Advisory

Harness racing at Rosecroft Raceway

Per a directive from the Maryland Department of Agriculture in response to a recent equine herpesvirus (EHV-1) outbreak affecting the Mid-Atlantic, every horse shipping onto the backstretch at Rosecroft Raceway will be required to have a certified veterinary inspection health certificate issued within the past 21 days before arrival accompanying them to the stable gate or on file, effective Monday, Dec. 1.

Health certificates may also be emailed to [email protected].

Failure to have proper and timely health certificates in hand or on file for horses arriving at the stable gate will result in said horses being scratched.
