The Magic Moment extended his resume on Sunday, Nov. 16 at Flamboro Downs with a win in the $10,000 Preferred Pace.

The Magic Moment and Garrett Rooney settled in the pocket position behind favoured Ideal Perception (Jonathan Drury). The Magic Moment maintained his position through every panel in :28.2, :58.2 and 1:26 before popping the pocket in the stretch to win by a length in 1:55.2. Delightful Leader (J Harris) nabbed second and Ideal Perception had to settle for the show spot.

Breeder Gestion A&a Belanger Inc. co-owns the sophomore Control The Moment-Wind River Cat gelding with Cynthia Cote Dupont of Shawinigan, Que. Trained by Francis Guillemette, The Magic Moment recorded his 10th win in 15 goes this year, moving his seasonal sum to $84,840 of his career bankroll to $125,810. In 20 lifetime starts, he has won 13 times. He paid $13.30 to win.
