Syndication Announced For Back Of The Neck
Blue Chip Farms has announced syndication details for trotting stallion Back Of The Neck 2,1:55; 3,1:51.3; 1:51 ($1,552,773).
Back Of The Neck’s syndication marks a chance for breeders and investors to own a stake in this up-and-coming young stallion backed by one of harness racing's stronger pedigrees. His 2025 Harrisburg yearlings averaged 5.6 times his stud fee.
This newly-launched syndicate consists of 120 total shares, with 48 now available for purchase. Each share includes one annual breeding right with an additional free breeding right in 2026 and 2027. Syndicate members will also share in European and Southern Hemisphere frozen semen income on a pro-rata basis. The cost per share is $35,000 USD or $30,000 USD for purchasers who have previously booked to Back Of The Neck. Purchasers receive two breedings per share in the first two years after purchase and one breeding every season thereafter.
Back Of The Neck’s pedigree straddles both sides of the Atlantic. A son of Ready Cash — Europe’s most influential sire — and out of the Andover Hall mare Big Barb, Back Of The Neck offers genetics that complement virtually every major North American trotting line. His maternal family includes standout performers such as Broadway Donna, Sig Sauer, and Fashion Schooner.
Standing in New York for a stud fee of $7,500 USD, Back Of The Neck’s offspring are eligible to the rich New York Sire Stakes program.
