Alberta Super Finals Rescheduled For Saturday
The Alberta Sires Stakes Super Finals have been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15 at Century Mile after last weekend's championship card was cancelled due to unsafe track conditions.
The province's top two and three-year-old pacers will face off in the four $90,000 Super Finals with four $15,000 consolations on the undercard.
The Super Finals remain as originally drawn, but are scheduled as races eight, nine, 11 and 13 with a handful of driver changes. Canada's 2025 leading dash-winning driver Austin Sorrie is set to make his Alberta debut, picking up catch-drives in the main events on Jamie Gray trainees B A Dragon and Ruler Dragons as well as the Justin Currie-trained Custards Rendition and Catitude from the Chris Lancaster stable, as fellow Ontario-based reinsman Doug McNair, originally scheduled to drive those starters, has prior commitments at The Meadowlands this weekend.
Post time for the 13-race card is 6:15 p.m. (MST).
