Whats Inthe Esky A Favoured In Woodstock Feature
Morning line favourite Whats Inthe Esky A will be seeking his third straight victory at Woodstock Raceway at Connell Park in the featured Winners Over Pace on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Saturday will mark the final card of the 2025 harness racing season and there will be six races in total on the afternoon, with post time at 1 p.m. (AST).
Colin Decourcey will drive Whats Inthe Esky A in the $2,000 top class for trainer Robert Kitchen and the Bala Stable. The 11-year-old Western Edition-Rustlin A Kiss gelding has already won 11 races this year with close to $30,000 in seasonal earnings. He will leave from post four in the five-horse grouping.
Nuttin But Finesse and Mike Downey will have the outside post five for meet-leading trainer Ellen Stevenson. Dowling will be looking to win the track's dash-winning title. He's currently tied with Gilles Barrieau with 12 victories while Decourcey is two behind. Nuttin But Finesse, a seven-year-old son of Art Major-Nuttin But Trouble was second by a quarter-length last time out to Whats Inthe Esky A and won this year's Gold Cup & Saucer Consolation.
Another Stevenson trainee, Watchmaker has drawn the coveted rail position with Dr. Mitch Downey driving. He's fresh off a win in 1:59.2 last week at Connell Park.
The field also includes a pair of Robyn Dickison trainees in Bet On Lucas with Sam Hodgin to drive from post two and Chuck You Farlie just to their outside in post three with Mark Haig in the bike.
