The Prince Edward Island Harness Racing Industry Association and Red Shores have announced the Joe & Steven MacRae Fall Series, which will begin next month at Charlottetown Driving Park.

Sponsored by the MacRae Family, the series is named in honour of the late Joe and Steven MacRae.

The series will be separated into two divisions in 2025. The first division will be for horses/geldings and mares aged three and over who, as of Oct. 15, 2025, are non-winners of $4,000 in 2025 and who have raced a minimum of 12 starts on P.E.I. in 2025.

The second division is for horses/geldings and mares aged three and over who, as of Oct. 15, 2025, are winners of between $4,001 and $6,000 in 2025 and who have raced a minimum of 12 starts on P.E.I. in 2025.

All events will be raced at Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park on the following dates:

• Fillies & Mares:
  • Leg 1 - Thursday, Nov. 20
  • Leg 2 - Thursday, Nov. 27
  • Leg 3 - Tuesday, Dec. 2
• Horses & Geldings:
  • Leg 1 - Saturday, Nov. 22
  • Leg 2 - Saturday, Nov. 29
  • Leg 3 - Saturday, Dec. 6

Declarations are due Nov. 6 by 12 p.m. (AST). There are no nominations or starting fees.

If there are enough entries to fill both a horse and mares event in each division, entries will be separated by sex.
