The connections of Twin B Joe Fresh have shared an update on the 2024 U.S. Horse of the Year who was vet scratched lame after warmup for the Breeders Crown Mares Open Pace on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

The Chris Ryder Racing Stable reported in a social media statement on Sunday that Twin B Joe Fresh has a bruised foot.

"We expect to be able to rectify the situation," said the statement. "We really appreciate the [outpouring] of concern from the industry."

The five-year-old Roll With Joe-Fresh Breeze mare has won 36 of her 49 starts, including the 2024 Breeders Crown and six Grand Circuit stakes this year, while earning $3.4 million.
