Harness racing enthusiasts and photographers, Standardbred Canada (SC) is issuing a reminder to submit your best photos capturing the excitement, beauty and spirit of the sport! The submission deadline is quickly approaching, so ensure your entries are in soon.

How To Submit:

Please submit the Photo Submission Form and your photos to Jessica Street at [email protected] by Friday, Oct. 31, 2025.

Submission Guidelines:

SC is looking for images that capture the spirit of harness racing, whether through dynamic action shots, behind-the-scenes moments, the special bond between horses and handlers, or any other aspect that highlights the essence of a Standardbred. You don’t need to be a professional photographer to submit — everyone is welcome to share their unique perspective.

Technical Requirements:

• Landscape orientation
• High-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI)
• JPEG or TIFF format
• No watermarks or added text
• Full colour only (black & white photos will not be accepted)

Deadline:

All submissions must be received by Friday, Oct. 31, 2025.

Selection Process:

Standardbred Canada will review all entries and select photos to feature in the 2026 calendar. Photographers of selected images will be notified by phone call or email.

Terms & Conditions:

By submitting the SC Photo Submission Form and your photos, you agree to grant Standardbred Canada the rights to use, reproduce and distribute your images for the purpose of creating and promoting the 2026 calendar and/or for other editorial purposes. You retain ownership of your photos and will be credited accordingly. You also consent to receive marketing emails from Standardbred Canada, including updates on events, promotions and news. Your information will be safeguarded in accordance with our privacy policy.
