JN Lucky Monster Tops Second Midwest Sale Session

JN Lucky Monster fetched the highest price during the second session of the 2025 Midwest Standardbred Horse Sale, held on Friday, Oct. 17 at the Corteva Coliseum - Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana.

A son of JK Endofanera from the Somebeachsomewhere dam Kissimmee Beach, JN Lucky Monster is the second foal from his dam and a half-brother to speedy two-year-old stakes winner Cowboy Show (1:52.2s - $33,605). Consigned by Bluebird Meadows as agent, JN Lucky Monster sold for $94,366 ($67,000 USD) to William Hartt, of Carmel, Me.

The highest priced trotting-bred yearling of the session was Ponda Call, a son of Rebuff - First Call consigned by Pond-A-Acres. Agent Henry Graber Jr., of Monroe, In. plunked down $71,831 ($51,000 USD) for the second foal of his dam, a half-sister to Ontario Sires Stakes Graduate Fireinsidemyveins 3, 1:53.1f ($165,675).

Rounding out the top three of the Friday sale session was Duckies Odds. The son of Odds On Equuleus - Duckies Delite, consigned by Weaver Standardbred Farm, is a sibling to four in 1:53 including Neyreit p,1:50.1f (336,443). Jeff Berger / Summit Bloodstock of St. Petersburg, Fl. signed the papers on the yearling after shelling out $60,563 ($43,000 USD).

The sale concludes on Saturday, Oct. 18 with a mixed sale session starting at 9 a.m.
