Stormont Beautiful Supplemented To Breeders Crown

Stormont Beautiful was the lone supplement received by the Monday, Oct. 13 deadline for this year’s Breeders Crown, presented by Toyo Tires and TreadXperts, at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
Supplemental entries for the three-year-old and open Breeders Crown races closed on Monday at noon. The two-year-old events are not open to supplements.
A homebred for Stormont Meadows of Long Sault, Ont., Stormont Beautiful’s connections put up $72,000 USD to supplement to the Breeders Crown Three-Year-Old Filly Trot.
Trained by Kevin Benn, Stormont Beautiful was most recently second in Saturday’s Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Gold Super Final. The daughter of Resolve-Stormont Fried has won four of 14 starts this season, earning $286,758, and she was notably third-placed-second in the Grade 1 Elegantimage Stakes on Sept. 20 at Mohawk.
Stormont Beautiful holds a career mark of 1:52.2, which she posted in a 7-1/2-length victory on Sept. 30 at Mohawk Park in an OSS Gold event. She is seven-for-21 overall with $330,383 in lifetime earnings.
The entry box for the 2025 Breeders Crown closes Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 10:30 a.m. Eliminations (if necessary) for the two-year-old events will be held this Friday, while the three-year-old and open eliminations will take place on Saturday.
The 2025 Breeders Crown finals will take place on Oct. 24 and 25 at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
