Alittlesidehustl N Takes Feature; Five For Hennessey

AlittlesidehustlN

Alittlesidehustl N, who has been a fixture in the Fillies and Mares Open at Saratoga Casino Hotel over the past few seasons, did not have a top-class bout to enter on Tuesday, Oct. 7, but she took the $20,139 conditioned feature in style instead.

Alittlesidehustl N was the favourite, one week removed from a second-place try when dropping to this level. On Tuesday, the seven-year-old’s regular reinsman Billy Dobson took her back to last in a field of five. Alittlesidehustl N was patient through :27.3 and :57.3 first panels before making her move en route to three-quarters in 1:25.4. The Jackie Greene-trained mare surged around the final turn and powered past her rivals in the stretch to score in 1:54.3. Cyclone Sister (Wally Hennessey) was second, 1-1/2 lengths back, followed by Truly (Leon Bailey).

Alittlesidehustl N is now six-for-28 this year. She has been a picture of consistency, hitting the board with regularity against the track’s top distaffers and recording her share of victories in the ladies’ feature. The daughter of Hes Watching-Uandmebabe, owned by Kellogg Racing Stables and Jackie Greene Stables, has now earned $487,010 and won 30 of 127 races lifetime.

Wally Hennessey got five horses to victory lane on the 11-race program. The dual Hall of Famer won the opener with American Tour N ($3.06) in wire-to-wire fashion, the second with Clover ($3.04), the fourth with Caviart Lyra ($8.38), the seventh with Divided We Fall ($10.04), and the ninth with Th Rita Lou ($10.84). The reinsman, who reached 12,000 career victories earlier this season, has been in fine form. He has won 176 races in 2025 and is striking at a 22.3 per cent clip.

Live harness racing resumes on Sunday at Saratoga with a first post time of 12 p.m.
