Oh Well To Stand Stud In 2026

Millionaire trotter Oh Well, the 2022 Mohawk Million champion, will stand stud in 2026.
Dr. J Stallion Management announced on Monday, Oct. 6 that Oh Well 3,1:51.2 ($1,815,121) will join its stallion roster and stand the 2026 season at Premier Acres in Middlebury, Indiana for an introductory stud fee of $4,000 USD.
A five-year-old son of Muscle Hill out of the fast Cantab Hall mare Fine Tuned Lady, Oh Well is a former $530,000 yearling purchased by S R F Stable at the 2021 Standardbred Horse Sale and trained by Marcus Melander throughout his racing career. In addition to his dominant score in the 2022 Mohawk Million, Oh Well won the New Jersey Sire Stakes final and New Jersey Classic as a two-year-old. At three, Oh Well captured divisions of the Stanley Dancer Memorial and Bluegrass Stakes where he took his mark of 1:51.2, and was second in both his elimination and the final of the Hambletonian. As a four-year-old, Oh Well went on to be a major player in the Free-For-All trotting ranks, finishing second in the Maple Leaf Trot and Caesars Trotting Classic, and a fast-closing third (by a neck) in the Hambletonian Maturity.
Dr. J Stallion Management has reported that Oh Well has passed fertility tests. Shares will be sold. Contact Dr. Bridgette Jablonsky at 717-578-7395 or [email protected] for more details.
Oh Well will be available for inspection at the upcoming Midwest Standardbred Horse Sale at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Wednesday, Oct. 15 from noon to 3 p.m., where breeders can also talk to Dr. J about the syndication details and securing a booking for the 2026 breeding season.
