Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park will be hosting two major events in the coming weeks and would like to remind customers and horsepeople of changes to the fall racing schedule.

The capital oval will host the Charlottetown Gaudet’s Autobody Islanders Baseball team on Saturday, Oct. 4. First race post time is 12:30 p.m. (ADT). The National Seniors’ Men’s Baseball Champions will arrive at the centre of the racetrack at 1:30 p.m. (ADT) for a special meet & greet, autographs, souvenir post card giveaways and their own race presentation. The Islanders became the first P.E.I. baseball team to win a nationally sanctioned championship at any level.

The Atlantic Classic Yearling Sale takes place at the Crapaud Exhibition Grounds on Friday Oct. 10 ahead of the Atlantic Breeders Crown weekend of champions. The Atlantic Breeders Crown consolation card on Saturday, Oct. 11 will be followed by the awards banquet in the Top of the Park, hosted by Vance Cameron and Rocky Schurman, where harness racing families in Atlantic Canada will be honoured. The Atlantic Breeders Crown finals will be staged on Sunday, Oct. 12 with post time at 12:30 p.m. (ADT).

Atlantic Breeders Crown finalists can now book their table in the Top of the Park by calling 902-620-4264. Space is limited. Guests will also receive a special rate when booking at Rodd Charlottetown or Rodd Royalty properties.

The Charlottetown fall racing schedule has undergone some changes in 2025. The Sunday programs in November will move to Thursday evenings while the Sunday timeslots in December will be held on Tuesdays. Post times will be 6 p.m. (AST).
