The Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey (SBOANJ) has announced that anyone interested in running for director must send a letter of intent to the SBOANJ office via certified mail, or in person, no later than Oct. 3, 2025.

In order to qualify as a director, you must have been an active member for the past two years in the category in which you wish to run.

Running for re-election are: Michael Posner in the driver/trainer category, Anthony Perretti and Mark Mullen in the breeder category, and Anthony Romano in the owner category, plus one open seat.

The SBOANJ election will take place on Nov. 19, 2025.
