Bobby Glassmeyer's Sweet Angel Boy ($9, Ross Wolfenden) was a 1:52.1 repeat winner in the $25,000 Open Pace Monday (Sept. 15) at Harrington Raceway.

Captaincountrystar (Pat Berry) took the early lead before yielding to Sweet Angel Boy to an opening quarter mile in 27.1 seconds. The field of seven marched to the half-mile win 57 seconds with Stevens Saloon (Jason Thompson) and Joker On Jack (Corey Callahan) on the outside to three-quarters in 1:24.4.

Sweet Angel Boy stayed on top in the stretch and achieved his second straight win over a fast-closing Steven's Saloon, last week's winner, and Captaincountrystar who was third.

It was the fourth win of the year for Sweet Angel Boy, a seven-year-old gelded son of Sweet Lou-Aries Art who is trained by his owner.

Jason Thompson, Bart Dalious and Allan Davis each had driving doubles.

Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule at Harrington with a 4:30 p.m. first post.
