Posts Drawn For 2025 Yonkers International Trot

Canadian representative Lexus Kody drew post position one for the $1 million USD MGM Yonkers International Trot (Grade 1) at the race's draw and luncheon on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Zero Otto Nove in Tuckahoe, New York.
The Yonkers International Trot, a 1-1/4 mile race featuring a field of international trotting stars, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13 at MGM Yonkers Raceway.
Lexus Kody, a seven-year-old Archangel-Lexus Helios gelding bred by Norm Dunstan of Caledon Village, Ont., will be driven by Quebec native Yannick Gingras for trainer Ron Burke. The millionaire trotter enters the Yonkers International off a 1:49.1 all-age trotting record in Canada, winning the Maple Leaf Trot on Aug. 30 at Woodbine Mohawk Park. He is owned by Pennsylvania's Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi and Phillip Collura.

Post time is 12:20 p.m. for Saturday's program at Yonkers, with the International Trot scheduled as the sixth race on the program with an estimated post time of 3 p.m.
Saturday's undercard will include a pair of Grade 2 events with $200,000 USD purses, the Bob Miecuna Invitational Trot and Aria Invitational Pace, also 1-1/4 mile races. Those fields were also drawn on Tuesday and are listed below. The Miecuna will go as race seven and the Aria will be the fifth race on the card.

The International Trot will be broadcast on Fox Sports 2 as part of America's Day at the Races.
The race will be part of a Cross Country Pick 5 and there will be a $20,000 guaranteed Pick 5 pool on the program, beginning in race five, and a $10,000 guaranteed Pick 4 pool, starting in race seven, in partnership with the United States Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering Program.
