Trevor Henry is no stranger to the winner's circle at Hanover Raceway, and the longtime track kingpin added two more tallies to his totals with wins in both of the $6,000 Balanced Image Trot eliminations on Saturday, Aug. 16.

Parked three-wide for about the first 400 metres in the first elim, Beau Knight ($3.80) and Henry eventually cleared early leader Green Nineteen (Todd Ratchford) at the :30.2 first quarter station, backed down the tempo to a respectable 1:01.3 half and 1:32.3 three quarters, then trotted home in :30.2 to prevail over a pocket-popping Green Nineteen by a head in 2:03. Acefortyfour Magic (George Ketros) and Life Is Great (Travis Henry) also advance to next week's $40,000 final as the third and fourth-place finishers.

Blake MacIntosh owns and trains Beau Knight (Wheeling N Dealin - Bonamassa) along with breeder Reg Higgs of Blenheim and co-owner Princeton Farms Inc. of Princeton, Ont. The win is the gelding's first in four appearances and he now sports exactly $8,000 in earnings.

Henry managed another narrow victory courtesy Toss Of The Dice ($4.50; pictured above) in the second Balanced Image elim. After sitting the pocket behind favoured Great Trickster (Bruce Richardson) through a :30.4 opening quarter and 1:02 half, Henry angled Toss Of The Dice out of the two hole around the five-eighths mark. These two-year-olds traded blows through the final three-eighths of the mile, with Toss Of The Dice a nose the best in a time of 2:01.3. Arbela Hanover (Samuel Fillion) and P L Talladega (Todd Ratchford) completed the superfecta ticket.

A son of Archangel - Roll Sevens, Toss Of The Dice is trained by Kyle Fellows for owners Yolanda Fellows of Rockwood, Leo Fleming of Campbellville, Bill Manes of Rockwood and William Cripps of Acton, Ont. The gelding sports a 3-0-1 summary from five starts with $27,900 in earnings.
