No Eliminations Needed For Peaceful Way Stakes

The entry box for the William Wellwood Memorial Stakes (Grade 1) and Peaceful Way Stakes (Grade 1) for two-year-old trotters at Woodbine Mohawk Park closed on Tuesday morning, Aug. 12, with no eliminations needed for the latter filly stakes event.
A pair of William Wellwood Memorial eliminations will be contested on Friday, Aug. 15 at Mohawk for two-year-old trotting colts and geldings.
The Peaceful Way attracted 11 two-year-old trotting fillies that will go directly to the final on Saturday, Aug. 23. A $30,000 Peaceful Way prep race will take place this Friday. The 11 entered fillies for the Peaceful Way are listed below with their trainers.
