Live harness racing will return to Ontario's southernmost track, Leamington Raceway, on Sunday, Aug. 10. This year’s meet will feature 13 race days, with a lineup of popular events sure to thrill fans of all ages.

The track's feature events will include Kids Day on Sept. 7 with bicycle giveaways, face painting and the Young Gunz Mini Racing, Caretaker Appreciation Day on Sept. 14, Harness the Hope on Sept. 28 and Wiener Dog Races on Oct. 5.

Leamington Raceway has always been known for its energetic and welcoming on-track atmosphere, and this year will be no different. Fans can catch all the action live and get free race programs at lakeshorehorseraceway.com.

The grandstand has undergone upgrades ahead of the season, including new front washrooms and renovations beneath the grandstand to further enhance the race day experience for fans.

Track officials are excited to welcome horse racing participants and fans back to Leamington Raceway for what promises to be another memorable season.
