The $140,000 Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Leg 2 Gold Series event for two-year-old trotting colts that was postponed on Thursday, July 24 due to severe weather at Woodbine Mohawk Park will now be raced, as originally drawn, on Thursday, July 31 as part of the track’s regular card of pari-mutuel wagering.

Severe storms struck Mohawk during the July 24 card just before the race seven OSS Gold field was due to leave the paddock. After a long delay, the decision was made to cancel the final four races on the card due to unsafe racing conditions caused by lightning.
