Incaseyoudidntknow Impressive In Harrington Open

Incaseyoudidntknow

Jim Magno and Joe Fonte's Incaseyoudidntknow ($3.20, Jim Morand) was a 1:53.4 winner despite a less than ideal journey over a sloppy racetrack in the featured 24,658 Mares Open on Tuesday, July 1 at Harrington Raceway.

Square Deal (Corey Callahan) blasted from post seven to assume command early where she would stay through fractions of :27.4, :55.4 and 1:24.3 while Incaseyoudidntknow was parked on the outside the entire mile. Incaseyoudidntknow miraculously surged in mid-stretch despite the overland trip and cruised to her sixth win of the year by a length. Jett Propelled was second with Feeling Sweet third.

The Always B Miki seven-year-old notched her sixth win of the season for trainer Les Givens and 44th lifetime to lift her earnings over the $925,000 mark. Morand and Givens also teamed up later in the card for a 1:53.2 win with Stephen Messick's Misty Coast ($2.80) who dominated in a $13,699 conditioned pace.

Allan Davis had the hot hands on the day, winning five races on the Tuesday card.

Wednesday, July 2 (post time 4:30 p.m.) will be the last night before the track's summer break. Racing will return for the July 17 Delaware State Fair program with a 5 p.m. first post time.
