Stonebridge Reef romped in the $16,216 Winners Over Handicap Pace at Tioga Downs on Sunday, June 15 to highlight a triple for trainer Jeff Cullipher.

Sea Of Life (Ridge Warren) forged to the front just past the quarter in :26.1 and continued unopposed to the half in :55. Stonebridge Reef, driven by Tyler Miller, made his move heading down the backstretch and rolled by the previous pacesetter to take over before three-quarters in 1:22.3. Stonebridge Reef turned on the afterburners at the top of the stretch and soared to a 5-1/2-length victory in 1:51.1. Liveonjaxandqueens (Mike Merton) was second, followed by Sea Of Life.

Stonebridge Reef, a seven-year-old horse by Somebeachsomewhere-Rock N Soul, is now six-for-14 this season and has won 23 of 113 career starts. Pollack Racing LLC owns the pacer, who was a repeat winner in the Winners-Over and paid $4.30 to win as the even-money favourite.

Following their victory in the third-race feature, Cullipher, Pollack Racing, and Miller teamed up again to take the sixth race with Hunting Zone ($2.30) and the ninth with Its In The Stars ($3). Miller also took Race 5 with Perfectboy Hanover ($5.20) and earned a driving grand slam on the 11-race card.

Merton and Warren had driving triples.

Tioga Downs will host its next card on Friday, June 20 with a post time of 6:15 p.m.
