Veteran horseman Stanley Maguire, formerly of Ravenswood, passed away peacefully at McGarrell Place in London, Ont. on May 6 at the age of 94

.

Maguire loved the sport of horse racing as a trainer and driver in the 1950-70's.

Loving brother to Kathleen of Courtright, Don of Lucan, Philip of Ilderton, Fred of Nairn and Jean of Grand Bend. Sadly missed by 35 nieces and nephews and several great and great, great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Rosella, brothers Bev, Bob, Murray and sister Beryl and nephews Gary and Michael.

A private family funeral service for Maguire will take place at the Grand Bend Cemetery. Memorial donations to Brinsley United Church gratefully acknowledged. Condolences can be shared online at gilpinfuneralchapel.com.
