The start of Inverness Raceway's 2025 season has been delayed, with its first scheduled race date on Sunday, May 25 cancelled.

The cancellation is due to an upgrade to the track's sound system that will not be completed before Sunday. Track officials plan to apply for a make-up date to be determined.

The Inverness, N.S. meet is now scheduled to begin the following Sunday, June 1.

The racing schedule includes Sunday afternoon or Wednesday evening race dates weekly through October.
