Archer Dominates Rideau Card Sunday

Trainer Mandy Archer dominated at Rideau Carleton Raceway on Sunday, May 11, winning five of the evening’s races -- a commanding performance with her trainees taking half the card.

Archer rattled off four straight victories on the 10-race card, starting with Arson Seelster ($2.10), driven by Guy Gagnon. She followed that win immediately with Tignanello ($7), piloted by Ryan Guy. Robert Shepherd delivered the next two wins, guiding Day Trader ($3) and Gimmie A Corona ($4.10) to victories. Archer capped off the night just as she started, teaming up with Gagnon to win with Riviera Beach ($3.10).

The dominant outing pushed Archer’s 2025 win total to 23, with seasonal earnings climbing to $104,316. Her career earnings now stand at $2,683,587. The reigning leading trainer at Rideau from 2024, Archer is once again in prime position atop the standings as she looks to defend her title this season.
