Hoosier Park To Broadcast May 17 Card

Harness racing at Hoosier Park

Harrah’s Hoosier Park has announced that its card on Saturday, May 17 will be broadcast live nationally on Fox Sports 2, joining The Meadowlands for its Cutler Memorial broadcast from 8-11 p.m.

With a post time of 6:15 p.m., the Harrah’s Hoosier Park card will focus on some of the best sophomores in the state of Indiana as they prep for the Indiana Sire Stakes season. The Saturday card will feature both $25,000 USD finals of the Hal Dale and Go On BB (fillies and mares) pacing series for Indiana-sired horses who are non-winners of two of $25,000 USD lifetime. Past champions of the Hal Dale include the likes of Sabonis and Always A Prince.

In addition to The Hal Dale, Hoosier Park will add $20,000 USD Indiana Sire Stakes eligible races for all four sophomore divisions. These races will serve as a prep for the first leg of Indiana Sire Stakes, which will kick off for all four three-year-old divisions on the special Memorial Day card on Monday, May 26.

Gabe Prewitt, Vice President and General Manager of Racing, will co-host the Fox Sports broadcast live from Hoosier and be joined by The Meadowlands’ Jessica Otten, who will be reporting from East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Bettors will have $7,500 guarantees in both the Early Pick 5 (Races 1-5) and Late Hoosier High 5 (last race on the card) on the May 17 card. Free online programs are posted nightly on the Hoosier website at harrahshoosierpark.com along with tip sheets, race replays and other handicapping resources.
