Delaware, Ohio Stakes Yearling Nominations Due

Yearling nomination payments for Grand Circuit stakes at the Delaware County Fair in Ohio are due May 15.
Owners are reminded that the yearling nomination payments for the Delaware, Ohio Grand Circuit events for foals of 2024 (to be raced in 2027) are due May 15. Also due are the nomination payments for the Standardbred Stakes (two-year-old events) for foals of 2024 and to be raced in 2026.
The nomination fees are as follows:
- Little Brown Jug – Grade 1 (No. 82) - $50 USD
- Jugette – Grade 1 (No. 57) - $50 USD
- Old Oaken Bucket – Grade 3 (No. 75)- $25 USD
- Buckette – Grade 3 (No. 75) - $25 USD
- Standardbred (No. 87) - $25 USD
The Ohio Harness Horseman’s Association will nominate all Ohio-bred foals of 2024 that have been registered with the United States Trotting Association as of May 15, 2025 to the Little Brown Jug (No. 82), Jugette (No. 57), Old Oaken Bucket (No. 75) and Buckette (No. 75). The foal’s owner will be responsible for all future payments. Foals not registered by the May 15 date can be made eligible by Aug. 15, 2025 by paying the late nomination fee.
