For the third time since March, Monticello Raceway has raised its purses.

Both Open events at The Might M now race for $9,300 USD and $15,000 USD claimers vie for $8,900 USD.

“We are hopeful with the increased purses that we can attract more horses," said Eric Warner, Race Secretary. "It is difficult at this time of the year with all the tracks now online and racing, hopefully this will equate to more entries in the box.”
