Grand River Raceway is now open for training ahead of its 2025 harness racing season.

The Elora, Ont. five-eighths-mile track will offer regular training days on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. through the entire racing season. 

Track management would like to advise horsepeople that all horses must be out of the paddock by 12:30 p.m.

Qualifying horses are to be entered through the Mohawk Park Race Office at 905-854-7805. The box closes on Monday at 9:30 a.m. for Wednesday qualifiers. Schoolers will be held immediately following Wednesday qualifiers. Schooling horses should be entered with the Paddock Judge upon arrival at the racetrack.

The 2025 racing season will begin on Wednesday, June 4.
