The April 2025 edition of TROT Magazine features the annual Pepsi North America Cup Spring Book, serving as that early barometer for the three-year-old pacers that may be in the running for the richest prize in Canadian harness racing. The 42nd edition of the $1 million Pepsi North America Cup is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Woodbine Mohawk Park, with eliminations on Saturday, June 7.

As of press time, seven of the top 10 horses listed in the Pepsi North America Cup Spring Book have either made appearances or are entered to compete. Those three yet to debut or hit the entries sheets — Captain Optimistic, D A Love Boat and Papis Pistol — are all likely to qualify around the start of May, according to the connections.
