Due to a pre-season football game at Met Life Stadium, the Meadowlands has changed the closing date for its 2012 meet to Friday, August 17

, a day earlier than previously announced.

The stakes which were scheduled on August 18 have been shifted to a day earlier. Those stakes moved to Friday, August 17 are all four two-year-old finals of the New Jersey Sire Stakes and the final of the William R. Haughton Memorial.

The previous week’s stakes were also moved to Friday, August 10 instead of Saturday, August 11. Those stakes are the second legs of the New Jersey Sire Stakes pacing divisions for two-year-old fillies and colts and the eliminations for the William R. Haughton Memorial.
