More Horsemen's Hockey Tournament Details

The 2025 Horsemen’s Hockey Tournament is a week away and the organizers have announced further details, including the draft and a fundraising raffle.
With the tournament set for Sunday, April 27 at the Cambridge Sports Park, the draft to determine the teams will take place this Wednesday, April 23 at State & Main Guelph (79 Clair Rd East, Unit 1) at 3 p.m.
Based on the number of players signed up, there will be five teams in this year’s tournament. The captains will be Chris Christoforou, Rob Fellows, Trevor Henry, Scott McEneny and Mike Saftic. All players in this year’s tournament are invited to attend the draft on Wednesday afternoon. The final rosters and schedule for the tournament will be posted online shortly after Wednesday’s draft.
Any players looking to participate must be signed up by Tuesday night. The entry fee for this year’s tournament is $60 a player (to be paid at the door). The entry fee guarantees a minimum of three games, a meal and drink ticket. To sign up, click here.
New this year, the Horsemen’s Hockey Tournament will be selling raffle tickets throughout Sunday’s tournament to raise money for the family of driver Hunter Myers. All players and spectators will be able to purchase tickets. The raffle prizes include signed driving suit by James MacDonald, a signed driving suit by Jody Jamieson, a signed driving suit by Louis-Philippe Roy and dinner for four at the Mohawk Harvest Kitchen. Raffle tickets will only be available for purchase onsite at the Cambridge Sports Park during Sunday’s tournament.
The organizers highly encourage spectators to attend and support the tournament. The Cambridge Sports Park's newly renovated restaurant and viewing area will be open all day on Sunday.
