Jett Propelled Upsets In Harrington Open

For the second straight night at Harrington Raceway, a sizable upset occurred in the feature race as the Bob Shahan trained Jett Propelled ($32.40, Jason Thompson) was a winner on a very windy Tuesday (April 15) in the $25,000 Mares Open.
The four-year-old Roddys Bags Again mare gabbed command to the quarter in :29.1 before leading to the half in :59. The 14-1 shot picked up the pace to three-quarters in 1:28.1 before fending off a late rally by Cindy Jo (Pat Berry) to score by three parts of a length in 1:57.1. Pocket-sitter Awesome Hill (Montrell Teague) finished in a dead-heat for third with Incaseyoudidntknow (Jim Morand).
It was the first win of the season and 13th in the career of Jet Propelled for her owner/trainer Shahan. Jett Propelled has banked $350,756 for her career.
Tony Morgan had three wins on the card. Montrell Teague, Russell Foster and Ross Wolfenden each had a driving double.
