Camshaft Hanover To PEI
New stallions keep rolling in to Prince Edward Island

The newest addition is Camshaft Hanover, who will stand the 2012 season at Dr. Mike Slana’s Belfast, PEI farm for owner Ian Smith.
The seven-year-old Artiscape stallion has 15 lifetime wins, $266,632 in earnings and a mark of 1:50.3, which was taken at the Meadowlands Racetrack. He is out of the Camluck mare Cams Little Star, who is also the dam of Camphor Hanover (30 wins, $254,007 in earnings, 1:52 at Chester) and Coit Hanover (21 wins, $125,934 in earnings, 1:53.4 at Rosecroft).
In his career, Camshaft Hanover has defeated some of the nicest pacers in the sport, like Share The Delight, Major Hottie, Southwestern Dream, Palone Ranger and Maltese Artist.
In May, 2009, he finished second to Southwestern Dream by a length, pacing his own mile in a stunning 1:48.3, while his fastest mile on a half was a 1:52.4 second place finish at Freehold Raceway.
Camshaft Hanover will stand for a fee of $1,000, with a $100 discount for payment within 30 days.
