Mohawk To Install High-Resolution Infield Screen

Infield screen at Woodbine Mohawk Park

Woodbine Entertainment is set to enhance the race-night experience at Woodbine Mohawk Park with the installation of a new infield video screen, scheduled to begin next week.

The new screen will deliver a 60 per cent higher resolution than the current display, providing sharper details, improved contrast and an enhanced refresh rate for clearer and more dynamic visuals. In addition to superior picture quality, a state-of-the-art Content Management System will be integrated, allowing for more engaging and real-time presentations of wagering and racing content.

“This investment underscores our commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for our fans and horseplayers,” said David Vivenes, Executive Vice President of Revenue, Brand & Experience at Woodbine Entertainment. “With a more vibrant and high-definition display, we’re ensuring that every thrilling moment on the track is seen with the utmost clarity.”

The project will commence immediately following the live harness racing card on Saturday, March 8 and is expected to be completed by mid-April.

As part of the installation process, Woodbine Mohawk Park will take its annual “March Break,” with live racing pausing after Saturday, March 22 and resuming on Saturday, March 29. Throughout the project, fans, horseplayers and racing participants can stay updated with real-time odds, changes and race replays via simulcast screens across the grandstand and paddock.

Live harness racing at Woodbine Mohawk Park continues every Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with first post time set for 6:30 p.m.
