Ladies From Hell Repeats In London Preferred

Ladies From Hell returned to the winner's circle for the second straight week after taking the $12,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred Handicap Pace at The Raceway at Western Fair District on Wednesday, March 5 as her 50th career triumph.
Garrett Rooney and Ladies From Hell cut the mile from post seven with fractions in :28, :57.4 and 1:27. The pair never looked back, posting a one-length score in 1:56.3. Ladyterra (Tyler Borth) closed sharply and finished second while Sports Duchess (Travis Henry) rounded out the top three.
Ladies From Hell is co-owned by trainer Michael Sumner with Shae Sumner. The 11-year-old daughter of Classic Card Shark-Jennys Place moved her career tally to $323,991 with her record now at 50-43-34 from 208 starts. This season, Western Fair's reigning Aged Pacing Mare of the Year has recorded a 4-1-2 tally in seven starts. She paid $5 to win.
Lindsey Kerr posted a training hat trick on the Wednesday evening card with Earlybird Special ($6.50), Favaro Seelster ($7.80) and Let Jimitakeover ($13.30), each driven to victory by Daryl Thiessen.
