Red Shores released its 2024 harness racing season results and announced plans for its 2025 season on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

Red Shores reported that it generated the second highest wagering in the tracks’ history during the meet from May 2024 to Jan. 25, 2025. The total all-source wagering for the season was $8.94 million. There was one fewer race program and 41 fewer races than 2023.

Total wagering for Old Home Week in Charlottetown was $1.42 million, on par with 2023, and the Atlantic Lottery Gold Cup & Saucer again hosted a capacity crowd.

The Governor’s Plate event in Summerside set a wagering record of $180,000, up 13.24 per cent from the previous year's record. This is now the third wagering record on the event in as many years.
