Allain Named APHRC Director Of Racing

The Atlantic Provinces Harness Racing Commission (APHRC) announced on Wednesday, Feb. 19 that Dylan Allain of Donagh, P.E.I. has accepted the position of Director of Racing.
In a release from the APHRC, Commission Chair Glen Rankin shared that Allain brings a wealth of experience and qualifications to the position and is a licensed charter, a licensed paddock judge, a licensed race secretary and a senior racing judge. His abilities to communicate effectively, work collaboratively with various industry partners, to be proactive in addressing opportunities and challenges, and his demonstrated experience as a regulator provide the Commission and the industry with strong leadership.
"On behalf of my fellow Commissioners, I welcome Dylan to his new role and look forward to working with him in support of harness
racing in the Maritimes," said Rankin.
"I have been fortunate to have experienced the harness racing industry through many lenses," said Allain. "As Director of Racing, I welcome the opportunity to work with everyone to enhance the role of the Commission as a regulator and to support the industry throughout the
Maritimes."
Allain will start as Director of Racing on March 3, 2025.
