Louise Rioux, who worked many years providing translation services for Standardbred Canada, passed away on Jan. 13, 2025 in Drummondville, Que., at the age of 83.

Louise Rioux, daughter of the late Cécile Plourde and the late Jules Rioux, leaves to mourn her friend Michel Guay, her sister Gaétane Rioux (Alain Veilleux), her nephew Richard Veilleux (Caroline Robitaille), her nieces Caroline Veilleux, Manon Veilleux (Charles Gauvin) and their families, her cousins, as well as several other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences at the J. N. Donais Funeral Home, located at 191 Lindsay Street, Drummondville, QC, on Feb. 22, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A mass in tribute will be celebrated the same day at the St-Frédéric Basilica, located at 219 Brock Street, Drummondville, QC, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Frédérick-George-Hériot residential centre for the good care provided to Louise.
