Trot Handicapping Champion Crowned
Forty-three punters from across Canada took part in the Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship tonight in hopes of taking home the $25,000 grand prize.
Blair Greenfield was crowned the winner after his picks earned him $141.40. The Brantford, Ont. resident qualified for the contest after taking top honours in Standardbred Canada's Last Chance Online Handicapping contest held last Saturday.
Leni Caldwell was the runner-up with $108.50 and Donna Parker finished third with $97.80. The early leader, Del Faggiani finished fourth with $94.40.
